Ron Paul Raises $300,000.00 Online in 36 hours

Ron Paul’s Presidential campaign kicked off a fund raising goal of collecting $500,000.00 in one week online to help boost his 3rd quarter numbers.

This followed last week’s goal of getting 1787 donations by weeks end. How is he doing?Last week he blew past 1787 donations and got about 1000 more over the weekend.

This week’s effort has collected $300,000.00 in approximately 36 hours. This is a pretty amazing feat for a candidate who is polling 4% nationally.

You can follow the donations live on the Ron Paul campaign site at http://ronpaul2008.com

There is no question that Ron Paul has surpassed his 2nd quarter fund raising of 2.4 million. The only question that remains for this quarter is by how much? Maybe you’d like to help out. You can donate to Ron Paul’s campaign here. If you give enough to him, and he should happen to win, then he’ll give you your country back as well as your freedom. How much would you be willing to pay for that ?

Instead of paying your income taxes, which are unConstitutional, donate some money to Ron Paul.

Income tax is constitutional. See amendment 16: “The Congress shall have power to lay and collect taxes on incomes, from whatever source derived, without apportionment among the several States, and without regard to any census or enumeration.”

Actually the tax system, as implemented, is not constitutional because:

    1) The tax lacks apportionment.

    2) The 16th Amendment was not ratified by the necessary number of states.

    3) There is no specific law on the books that delegates the taxing authority of the IRS.

Before potentially committing illegal activities, I urge you to read the following website. Written by a lawyer, it carefully addresses (with detailed references) these and other arguments against the income tax.

    I’d also ad…

Income and wages are two different things. If we really want to start considering our wages to be income, then we need to consider our lives to be businesses. That means everything we buy to support the business of our lives should be deductible… just like with any other business.

constitutional or not, I don’t think you should make income tax your pretext when it comes to voting for Ron Paul. He is a man with dignity and he has my vote.

Ignore dictatorships and genocide! Ron Paul would rather hide!

It’s never been free. Usually we have to be prepared to pay with our lives. If it only costs money this time, we’ve done good.

No I want to vote For Hillary
So what if she voted for the war. Voted for the patriot act twice. Voted to fund the war numerous times. So what if she is saying the opposite now.

Lets interfere some more with other countries, I’m more sure none of it will bite us in the ass.

More free handouts to black people too. They’re black you know, they can’t do anything themselves. We can’t trust them to be successful on their own.

Lets reward all the illegal immigrants with amnesty. So what if they broke our laws. We need more people who will get free stuff at the expense of the middle class.

I want bigger government, its so efficient just imagine more bureaucracy.

Print, Print, Print, spend, spend, spend until everyone is happy.

Ignore those who advocate the status quo as the only way to go. …Or else the government can’t nanny you.

    Vote Ron Paul!

I wonder about those poll numbers of 4%. We all know that they contradict the “active” polls - text message, online, phone-in etc - but they also seem to contradict the real-world straw polls.

Of the 25 real-world straw polls conducted in the last 4 months, Ron Paul won 9, came second in 5, and took third in 7. That means that he has placed in the top three in 21 of 25 straw polls.

Between the active and the straw polls, there’s something funny about the traditional phone-out polls. The way I see it, there are three options:

    1) Paul has solid support among people who actively follow the election - watching debates, attending straw polls etc.

    2) The methodology of the traditional polling is somehow flawed (missing a large, key demographic for instance)

    3) the ethics of the traditional polling are flawed.

I choose to believe option 1, because I’m not a tin-foil-hat kind of guy. still, it’s interesting to see just how much real-world support Paul has.

Wow… this is the article VERBATIM that I wrote and posted on my blog yet there is no citation pointing to it within this story. I don’t mind my blog post being appropriated, but at least link to it as well. Here is the link:
